In our holistic practice, we employ a combination of innovative alternative approaches to enhance health, along with the best natural methods that have been employed throughout history.
These methods are effective, natural, safe, and non-invasive.
The approaches we utilize are grounded in the latest scientific advancements encompassing physics, electromagnetism, frequencies, and cymatics. Additionally, we also leverage natural practices that have been known and successfully applied for centuries across the globe.
The subsequent sections offer further details on some of the holistic methods we regularly use with our clients:
Biomagnetism therapy
Biomagnetism therapy, also known as Biomagnetic Pair therapy, is a holistic and an alternative healing approach that involves the strategic placement of magnets on the body to balance and restore its natural energy. Developed in Mexico by Dr. Isaac Goiz Durán in the 1980’s, Biomagnetism therapy is based on the idea that imbalances in the body's pH levels can contribute to various health issues. Practitioners use pairs of magnets to create a magnetic field that aims to neutralize the imbalances and promote the body's self-healing mechanisms.
During a Biomagnetism session, the naturopath or practitioner typically uses muscle testing or bioenergetic testing to identify specific points on the body where imbalances or dysfunctions may be present. The practitioner then places pairs of magnets on these points, with one magnet acting as a positive pole and the other as a negative pole. This magnetic pairing is believed to create a resonance that helps restore the body's balance and enhance overall well-being.
Biomagnetism therapy is often used for a variety of health concerns, including chronic conditions, and emotional imbalances. In our holistic practice we have successfully used Biomagnetism therapy for many years and have seen very positive outcomes, sometimes even miraculous.
Energy medicine
Energy medicine is a holistic healing approach that recognizes and works with the subtle energy systems of the body to promote overall well-being. It is based on the understanding that the body has energetic pathways, often referred to as meridians, chakras, or biofields, through which vital life force energy flows. In energy medicine, practitioners aim to identify and balance disruptions or blockages in these energy pathways, with the belief that restoring the harmonious flow of energy can contribute to physical, emotional, and mental health.
Naturopaths and practitioners of energy medicine use various techniques to assess and manipulate the body's energy; we use for instance grounding, magnets, PEMF, light, vibrations, physical movement, and others. These approaches may also involve the use of visualization, intention, breathwork, and tapping on or near specific energy points on the body. The goal is to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself by addressing imbalances in the energetic system.
Energy medicine has gained popularity as a complementary and alternative approach to health and wellness. In our natural health practice we use it all the time and have seen great results.
Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a holistic system of alternative medicine founded on the principle of "like cures like." Developed by Samuel Hahnemann in the late 18th century, homeopathy is based on the idea that substances that cause symptoms in a healthy person can be used in highly diluted forms to treat similar symptoms in a sick individual. The central concept is known as the Law of Similars.
In homeopathic practice, remedies are prepared through a process of potentization, which involves diluting a substance and then vigorously shaking it (succussion). This process is believed to transfer the energetic or vibrational qualities of the original substance to the remedy. Homeopathic remedies are often administered in extremely diluted forms, and the principle of "minimum dose" is followed, suggesting that smaller doses are more effective.
Homeopathy is used to address a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Naturopaths and homeopaths consider the individual's overall state of health, including physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors, to recommend a remedy tailored to the person's unique symptoms and constitution. Many people have reported positive experiences with homeopathy since its inception more than 200 years ago. In our naturopathic practice we have also used homeopathic remedies successfully for many years without ever seeing negative side effects.
Bach Flowers
Bach Flowers, also known as Bach Flower Remedies, are a form of alternative medicine developed by Dr. Edward Bach in the 1930s and used by naturopaths and holistic practitioners. Dr. Bach believed that emotional and psychological imbalances were at the root of many physical illnesses, and he sought to address these issues through the use of flower essences. The system consists of 38 different flower remedies, each corresponding to a specific emotional state or personality trait.
The remedies are created by infusing flowers in water under sunlight. The idea is that the vibrational energy of the flowers is transferred to the water, and this essence can have a balancing effect on negative emotions. They can help alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional issues by restoring harmony to the mind and spirit.
Many people have found relief and a sense of well-being through the use of Bach Flowers. In our natural health practice, we have seen great results using them for a variety of emotional issues.
Herbal medicine
Herbal medicine, also known as phytotherapy or botanical medicine, involves the use of plants and plant extracts for therapeutic purposes. It is one of the oldest forms of medicine, with a rich history of use across various cultures for centuries. Herbal medicine utilizes the healing properties of herbs, flowers, roots, leaves, and other plant parts to address a wide range of health issues.
The benefits of herbal medicine are diverse and can include the following:
1. Natural Healing: Herbal remedies often work in harmony with the body's natural healing processes, supporting the body to restore balance and promote wellness.
2. Holistic Approach: Herbal medicine takes a holistic approach to health, considering not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes of imbalances in the body.
3. Fewer Side Effects: Herbal remedies may have fewer side effects compared to some pharmaceutical medications, as they typically contain a complex combination of compounds that work synergistically.
4. Cultural Tradition: Many herbal remedies have been passed down through generations, drawing on traditional knowledge and cultural practices to address health concerns.
5. Nutrient Support: Herbs are rich in various nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, providing nutritional support to the body.
Herbal medicine has been used around the world for a wide range of conditions, from common ailments like colds and digestive issues to chronic conditions such as anxiety and inflammation. In our holistic practice we have found herbs to be fundamental to achieve optimal health and work synergistically with the other more modern approaches we follow.
Emotion Code therapy
Emotion Code therapy is an alternative healing method developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson that focuses on identifying and releasing trapped emotions believed to contribute to physical and emotional imbalances. According to the principles of Emotion Code therapy, unresolved emotions can become trapped in the body, forming what is referred to as "emotional baggage." This trapped emotional energy is thought to disrupt the body's natural energy flow, potentially leading to physical discomfort, illness, or emotional distress.
In an Emotion Code session, a practitioner uses muscle testing, also known as applied kinesiology, to identify specific trapped emotions. Once identified, these emotions are released using a technique called "The Body Code," which involves running a magnet along specific points on the body. The goal is to facilitate the release of trapped emotions, allowing the body's energy to flow more freely and promoting overall well-being.
The Emotion Code therapy can help addressing a wide range of issues, including physical pain, emotional challenges, and relationship issues, by identifying and releasing trapped emotions. A growing number of individuals report positive experiences with Emotion Code therapy. In our naturopathic practice we have seen many clients recover from trauma using it.
Aromatherapy
Essential oils therapy, often referred to as aromatherapy, is a well-known and widely practiced form of alternative or complementary therapy. Aromatherapy involves the use of essential oils, which are concentrated extracts from plants, to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. These essential oils can be derived from various parts of plants, such as leaves, flowers, stems, and roots.
Aromatherapy is administered through methods such as inhalation, topical application, or diffusion. Different essential oils are believed to have specific properties, and their scents may influence mood, relaxation, or other aspects of health. While some people use essential oils for relaxation and stress relief, others explore their potential benefits in addressing issues such as headaches, insomnia, or respiratory concerns.
Many people find aromatherapy beneficial, and it is widely used around the world. In our natural health practice we use it often - it is simple and inexpensive - and we have seen very positive results.
Healing is Voltage therapy
"Healing is Voltage" is a therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Jerry L. Tennant, a physician and integrative health practitioner. The central concept of this therapy revolves around the idea that maintaining the body's optimal electrical voltage is crucial for health and healing. According to Tennant, disruptions in the body's voltage can lead to various health issues, and restoring the correct electrical balance is fundamental for the body's ability to heal itself.
In "Healing is Voltage" therapy, practitioners (including naturopaths and holistic doctors) focus on supporting the body's electrical system through lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, and other interventions. The therapy incorporates principles from various disciplines, including traditional medicine, acupuncture, and energy medicine. It emphasizes the importance of addressing the underlying causes of health problems rather than merely treating symptoms.
Benefits of "Healing is Voltage" therapy include enhanced cellular function, improved energy levels, and support for the body's natural healing mechanisms. By optimizing the body's electrical voltage, the therapy aims to create an environment conducive to healing and overall well-being. Having trained with Dr. Tennant, our naturopathic doctor leverages these concepts with our clients.
Magnet therapy
Magnet therapy, also known as magnetic field therapy or magnetotherapy, is an alternative medical practice that involves the use of static magnetic fields for therapeutic purposes. The underlying principle is that exposure to these magnetic fields may have positive effects on various bodily functions. This therapy often involves the use of magnets or magnetic devices placed on or near the body.
Magnet therapy can offer various benefits, including pain relief, improved circulation, and enhanced healing. Magnets influence the flow of energy in the body and promote a better balance of the body's electromagnetic field. In our holistic practice, we use magnet therapy frequently, and have seen first-hand its amazing results when used appropriately.
